Nightmare Zapping is a horror game where you watch a TV that shows things that happen to different people in a cursed city where everyone is destined to meet their end. Explore the channels and find what is the cause behind their demise.

This game was made in a few months as a test for a small framework I made, if the game has a good reception I may update it with more content for a paid release. If you enjoyed playing this, please leave a rating/comment so I know if you all enjoyed it.

Hello really cool game. I really liked the gameplay and the fact that the game isn't some generic horror with jumpscare. But it creates an uneasy feeling wich stays during all playtime.
Also, if you're interested i could try to translate this game in french. I really enjoyed it and if that can help more people play the game and know your work i'll be glad to do it :)

Great game! The gameplay is innovative and intriguing. The game interested me so much that I went hunting for the secret channels, typing number after number...it was time consuming but I found them all!

I really liked the fact that by zapping the TV we could see bits and pieces of information, and that the mystery was revealed little by little!
My favorite event was the date event! I liked the content of the good choices, but I also liked the message when I tried to choose another option, which gave me a sense of fear that made me break out in a cold sweat!

Sorry for the late answer. You should make some breakfast before you pray, if you make it the answer would be pretty straightforward. If you still have trouble, I'll write a small guide for that part down below. Thank you for playing!
(Spoilers)
You need to go to the kitchen and make breakfast, if you examine the items you can mix them into making some eggs with toast. After you finish, the game will tell you about channel 304, where... You are going to see the answer to making the ritual properly.

I noticed that too. I couldn't get it to work no matter what I tried. But when I copied and pasted the link into the search bar it actually worked, so I think it is something weird with Itch. This is such a cool, unique game and you can see and feel how much love went into all the details and individual designs. The story was great, the gameplay was super fun, it’s a marvelous experience, a real gem and one of the reasons why indie horror games are such a great treasure trove.

This game is very awesome, with a lot of playtime, and an interesting concept at hand. The art-style definitely reminds me of Faith: The Unholy Trinity. Very talented and unique!
